SISTEM INFORMASI EKSPEDISI BARANG BERBASIS WEB PADA CV. USAHA LESTARI

Abstract


CV. Usaha Lestari adalah perusahaan jasa pengiriman barang yang melakukan pengiriman barang ke Makasar, Poso dan area sekitar Tojo Una-Una. Karena banyaknya paket yang dikirim, banyak data barang yang harus diproses bersamaan dengan pengiriman yang memakan waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mempermudah kinerja dan pelayanan pada CV. Usaha Lestari serta sistem informasi berbasis web yang dihasilkan dapat melacak lokasi pengiriman barang, mempermudah penggunaan jasa pengiriman, dan menunjukkan adanya tujuan pengiriman baik di dalam maupun di luar kota. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian Kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi : observasi, wawancara dan kepustakaan. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan prototype. Bahasa pemrograman yang  digunakan adalah PHP Versi 5 dan database menggunakan MySQL. Hasil penelitian adalah sebuah aplikasi Sistem Informasi Ekspedisi Barang Berbasis Web yang dapat memudahkan pendataan transaksi pengiriman barang serta melacak lokasi pengiriman barang, dan menunjukkan adanya tujuan pengiriman baik di dalam maupun di luar kota. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode black box yang berfokus pada kebutuhan fungsional perangkat lunak.
